Naad studios is proud to present a workshop “Natya Shastra Fundamentals, Part 2” with Dr. Pappu Venugopala Rao from Chennai.

Because of time limitation of Dr. Pappu Venugopala Rao we have to reduce the length of Natya Shastra workshop from 8 hours to 4 hours. We really apologize for this last minute inconvenience. We appreciate all of yours understanding. Please see detailed information with change of time and fees.
Day & Time : Saturday, 1st April 2017 from 2 pm to 6 pm with half hour tea break

End of the workshop each teachers/ Parents/students will receive certificate of completion of this workshop.
Please wear comfertable Salwar/Kamiz for this workshop.
Please bring your notebook, pen/pencil and water bottle to this workshop.
Rules of the workshop:
1. All students should arrive at least 10 mins before the start time and are required to stay for the whole session.
2. Parents are requested to drop off the students.
3. Students should come in a comfortable, non-transparent salwar Kameez with a Duppatta.
4. Bring a note book, pen, water, and a snack if needed.
5. Payments have to be made at the beginning of the session. Sorry, No late payments and No refunds if you do not show up.

Here is some information regarding Dr. Pappu Venugopala Rao.
Dr.Pappu Venugopala Rao is a well-known Indian educationist and renowned musicologist. He specializes in Telugu and Sanskrit literature. He is also a writer and has written on varied subjects such as Music, Culture and spiritual subjects. Since 1980 he had been working with the American Institute of Indian Studies and retired as its Associate Director General for the Southern Indian region during 2008. He is presently the organisation’s Consultant. He is actively involved in research activities in Carnatic Music and Dance songs. He has delivered lectures and presentations on the “Natyashastra” for reputed dance schools, Art universities, television in India and around the world.
Dr.Pappu Venugopala Rao is also a book reviewer for the newspaper The Hindu and a contributing editor to Sruti Magazine. He is currently one of the Secretaries of the Music Academy, Chennai.
